Have you ever asked yourself why the space ships we launch to the Earth's orbit or to the Global Space Station don't fly like in the space movies, i.e. to the right or left, cannot turn around, stop and go backwards in the open space? It turns out that unlike the aircrafts flying in the atmosphere that has some air density, the space crafts don't have such opportunity up there.
